Diego Stredel is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Caracas, Venezuela, now based in Vancouver, Canada. Since relocating to Vancouver, Diego has showcased his acting talents across various television and film productions, including The Wrong Paris (Netflix), CrimeTime: Freefall (Hallmark), So Help Me Todd (CBS), The Imperfects (Netflix), He's Not Worth Dying For (Lifetime TV), Madam Reaper (Telus Optik TV), Edo Japan (National Commercial), and Memento Mori (Gutterball Productions).
In addition to his work on screen, Diego has contributed to the gaming industry with notable motion capture performances, such as Octavio in New Tales From The Borderlands (Gearbox Software), Finch in Xtemplar (Fish Flight Entertainment), and the Newbie Officer in Resident Evil 4 (Capcom).
Diego’s extensive theatre career includes standout roles, such as Tom in Actually (Alberta Theatre Projects), Marc Antony in All For Love (Studio Theatre), Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet (Corner Stage), Tom in Everyone We Know Will Be There (Tiny Bear Jaws), and Sunny in rihannaboi95 (Downstage Theatre). For his performance in rihannaboi95, Diego received nominations for Best Solo Performance and Outstanding Performance in a Drama at the Calgary Critic’s Awards and the Betty Mitchell Awards, respectively.
